ACLU Montana
Case Study

ACLU Montana

The ACLU of Montana has spent more than 50 years defending civil liberties across the state, with work spanning Indigenous justice, voting rights, reproductive freedom, criminal legal reform, LGBTQ equality, freedom of expression, and privacy. In 2022, it marked its 50th anniversary with a celebration at The Wilma in Missoula under the theme "Honoring our past to build a better future." Working with colleagues at Gecko Designs, I designed the anniversary identity: a 50th mark, event posters, on-stage and screen graphics, social media graphics, stickers, and T-shirts. That same year I also designed the Summer and Winter member newsletters — each a 20-page print piece — and a series of issue-focused print pieces on Indigenous justice, voting rights, criminal legal reform, and reproductive freedom.
